Celerum Auror Academy

Enrolling into the Auror program offered at Celerum is not a career choice to be taken lightly. An individual wishing to become and Auror is advised that this field of study is very demanding physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. Your entire being will be trained and even a small amount of time in the program can have lasting effects on an individual’s personality. It is advised that students are already of strong character before entering the program. The Auror Program is also a full semester longer than other degree plans with a total of 112 credit hours, so any students wishing to join should get comfortable on the island.

From the beginning, the course selection for Auror Students is different. The General Education has been tailored, eliminating the choice of an additional three extra curricular courses. Essentially, these three classes have been selected begin preparing you for the program. After a student has completed their General Education and still wishes to join the program, they will be tested of their knowledge and physical ability to make sure they’ll be able to handle the rigorousness of the career.

Once accepted into the program, the real course work begins. On top of the prescribed degree plan, Auror students will have monthly physical endurance testing, gym hours to clock in, and routine visits to the psychologist at the university’s Infirmary. The monthly endurance tests are conducted at random and at different times, in different weather conditions and on different terrain to actuarially judge a student’s ability to adapt to their surroundings and as a constant example of their talents. Each student in the program must clock ten full hours at the gym each week to the keep the body in a healthy working condition. Trust that the physical stamina required during the actual classes will be more intensive than these ten hours. The life of an Auror, even one in training, is emotionally difficult, thus each student will have regularly scheduled appointments with a psychologist for personal use. Skipping an appointment is not permitted.

A schoolmaster should have an atmosphere of awe, and walk wonderingly

As if he was amazed at being himself
